based on business weeks review of top business schools, it syracuse's whitman school of management is ranked 49. any1 have any personal experience?

My D is a freshman there right now and loves it. I’ve been very impressed by the quality of the faculty, personal attention, and focus on learning about the business world from Day 1. She is also involved in the Whitman Learning Community which is a fantastic experience where 20 kids live on two floors in a dorm and share 3 required classes together. The quality of her peers seems mixed though ranging from kids who turned down ivy leagues to kids who don’t seem very interested in their classes. But this could just be because they are freshman. Her classes are large but she has a required class that is a small group of Whitman students who meet weekly with an advisor which has been a great support.
The school has done a lot to help the seniors get jobs and they say they have a great placement rate. They seem to be offering much more help than what my S who is a senior at NYU is getting (although he is in CAS not the business school).

thanks for the help
