The deadline is passed, so you can speak up now. Who all applied to USC CNTV? There wasn’t that much talk about USC compared to last year CC group. I don’t know if fewer people are interested, or if everyone is scared.
- What major within CNTV did you apply to?
- How do you feel about your supplemental materials?
- SAT/ACT scores?
- Do you expect to get in?
I’d also like to add that the USC application is frustrating. The Online version doesn’t seem as in-depth as the paper version for one thing. You also feel like you could be missing something.
As for the CNTV app, I just wish they would lay out everything they need on one page. Instead, I have scoured the whole website to make sure I was sending everything that they needed. In the end, it just kind of makes you nervous that you might have forgotten something crucial that’s going to kill your chances of gettin in.

i felt that my personal statement was pretty good, but my character profile and portfolio list was extremely weak.

eh...unless you've done something incredible, its basically a crapshoot from here on

i agree about how frustrating the usc app itself is, as well as the cntv app. I wish they'd made it available online. I had no idea the Dec 10 due date was a "recieved by" date until about a couple of days before that day. I had to ask a family friend who lived near USC to drive over and drop it off for me. I still feel bad about that. Now I'm worried that my teachers and counselor sent their stuff (recs, counselor report form) in too late

it seems like not many people from CC applied. Hmm

Last year there was definitely heavy talk about USC. I wonder what happened to this year's bunch...

I'm applying
1. Production
2. defintely the strongest part...I've sold my work to Sundance...I've been in the san francisco and atlanta film festivals...
3. 1370 (horrible and retaking)/ACT 35/ Sat II: Bio e-770, Lit 760, Writ-700
4. No...I'm taking a film class at U of M this year (I live in ann arbor) and my teacher is from USC (she also wrote me a rec). She told me that accept 2%...
