You forgot loads of others-Rice, UCLA, UC-Berkeley, Brown.

those are other places that have contributed… and u didnt specify whether in general or grad/undergrad?

in all the case, the closest to my opinion, would be choice F.

Brown is … the Ivy. But thx anyway:)

I have examined a lot of information and looked into this question for sometime. Here is the best answer to this question IMO…

[Top 2000 Ranked Universities for Highest Overall School Score](http://www.stateuniversity.com/rank/score_rank.html)

Why are we personifying universities?

^That’s exactly what I was wondering.

In the words of Blair Waldorf: “Princeton is a trade school. There’s only Yale.”

EDIT: I feel the need to clarify that I am kidding, and that I think this is a stupid question that merits a stupid answer.

So lookbeyond, Harvard is not your dream university? Then what is your dream university?

Jben that source is nonsense. It’s only nifty for people who want to beat on Harvard and Yale. Regardless of whether you like them or not, they’re still two of the best (if not the two best) universities by ranking in all their facets: research, selectivity, student body, publications, etc. And that source is way too hard on Penn to be of any reliability.

Justin, it depends what your needs are. There is no “best”

these people are lying to you! john harvard is best greatest university of america hands down.

Either HYPS or HYPSM, in my opinion.

Why? Because those are unreachable for people outside of the cream of the crop who have things that make them special, generally speaking.

I’ll go by best universities in terms of how hard they are to get in to and that you have to be amazing to go to them.

Harvard
Yale
Princeton
Stanford
MIT
Cal Tech

Toomuchpressure…Cal Tech?? Not really UPenn is more difficult…

E. HYP+UPenn+Columbia+Stanford+MIT

I agree with u:)

Some people just came here to despise Harvard , don’t know why…
