Those are good points jarn, but both those actions were actions more in the name of secularism. The Spanish Inquisition united Spain and St. Bart's Day Massacre was a backhanded attempt by Catherine de' Medici to try to unite France. Both acts were done by Catholics, but more for nationalists purposes.

Anyways, those are only two examples compared to the myriad examples by Muslims that are still occurring to this day. Name a Christain terrorist attack or a Christian, specifically Catholic, oriented genocide in the 20th century. There is none. But if I asked you to name a Muslim one, well, I pretty much covered that with the article I posted.

No, they weren't. Those were an EFFECT, not a cause - removing a religion from an entire united the survivors based on their religion.

Quick predictions, anyone? I say McCain steamrolls Romney and Huckabee make victory almost certain, while Obama and Hilary go into a deadlocked set of extra innings.

If Obama can survive Cali, NJ, NY, and a bunch of other states w/ Clinton bases (I think he will), that Kansas endorsement will come in handy.

Er, isn't Clinton winning in NJ and NY? So he's already failing there.

I'm gonna say McCain gets the GOP nomination. The race between Clinton and Obama is too close to say now, though the odds seem slightly in favor of Clinton. Personally, I think it'd be great if she got the nomination and Obama ran as vice president.

I found some of these really interesting. It reminds me of my school. A lot of the Obama supporters would choose like Romney or McCain as their second choice. What is that about? It makes me think they know nothing about their stances on the issues and are voting for who they like...which wouldn't surprise me, but still..
