<p>Is this the second wave or is the 24th the second wave?</p>

<p>how do you know if your letter was sent? Why does CMU make this so difficult. I know two people at my school who have found out that they were accepted, but everyone else who applied hasn’t heard anything.</p>
<p>i just received mine and it is dated March 20th.</p>
<p>I called them and they said my letter was mailed on the 25th, but I still haven’t gotten it (NY). I hope they’re not rejections…that would be devastating.</p>
<p>@effward You can call the admissions office and they’ll tell you when your letter was sent. That is if you get someone who’s not rude. If not, just call again and hope someone else picks up. :)</p>

<p>I doubt there were any letters mailed on the 24th and so, I don’t think there are going to be any decisions tonight.</p>

<p>I am an international. So my online decision will be available to me before the actual letter. My letter was also sent on 25th…any idea as to when I would be able to view my decision online ?</p>

<p>I wish that CMU had given everyone results on the same day and at the same time. It is very stressful not receiving a decision when others have gotten them already. If they mailed them on the 25th, on what day and at what time will the decision be on the “Where am I in the Process” page? Is the 25th the last wave? Also, what determined which wave you were in?</p>
<p>@Birdlover. Like I said, it’s midnight EST. Four days after they were mailed. So, if yours was mailed on the 25th you can find out on the 29th midnight. To know which wave you’re in, you call them (that reduces your stress greatly! :).</p>

i thought it was supposed to up tonite if it was mailed on the 25th,
since when it mailed on friday, decisions for that wave were available on monday midnite…(friday, saturday, sunday, monday) </p>

<p>Well I would think the posting process is automated, so no matter what day, it will post it if its the 4th after mailing</p>
<p>Can those whose decisions were mailed on the 25th post their stats? Perhaps we can find a correlation on whether the letters mailed were waitlists/rejections or maybe even some acceptances.</p>
