I might apply to Clark! i heard they have an excellence Psych Program, which is what i am goin for. does anyone else know another school, with a great psych program?

W'chestermom, did you write a visit report? I didn't see your name attached to any of the 2008 reports on the Clark visit board.

I am hoping to take D to Clark later this year. D is definitely looking for a traditional residential campus experience; she hated BU, Simmons, Emerson and even N'eastern -- too much concrete, not enough lawn. Does the Clark campus have some of that traditional New England college campus "feel?"

Also, one of the visit reports mentioned a lack of diversity. And unless I'm mistaken, Clark's black enrollment has dropped about 15% - - down to about 3.5%. Did the admissions staff or any other member of the administration address this? And does the campus look/feel homogeneous?

and how is that 3/2 engineering program at clark? not particularly strong, i guess.. but still.

i applied to clark last year but didnt get enough aid. applying again, for fall 2009=)

many of my friends got acceptance from Clark with a $0.00 financial aid package. however, I applied to Clark this year. does anyone know about Clark's financial aid policy?

Average percent of need met: 95%

Average financial aid package: $27,945

Average need-based loan: $4,731

Average need-based scholarship or grant award: $21,932

Average non-need based aid: $14,472

Average indebtedness at graduation: $22,250

That's just off collegeboard. It seems like their financial aid is better than most schools. But I don't know anyone who goes there. What was your friends EFC when they did the fafsa? Maybe they EFC was or more than Clark's tuition rates.

I don't really count on the information on CB. my friends' EFC are about $7-9,000/year. anyway, this school doesn't sound generous to me. I love it, but there's not much hope for me.

That stinks, i'm pretty much relying on financial aid if I get in. I've heard they have great merit aid but I wouldn't qualify for those. I guess we'll have to wait and see. Good Luck!

I really don't want to wait until the beginning of April to hear from them. It's actually only a couple weeks away but it seems like I applied there ages ago. Has anyone heard from them recently?

haha elz200 I check CC 3 times a day to find out the slightest sign of that result. eventually, I know I need to be patient, for the sake of myself. btw, I haven't heard anything from them either.

The last couple of years, applicants started hearing the last week in March, so hopefully next week!

haha I check these board all the time too but I'm used to them being so dead.

come on clark! i need some juicy financial aid!

heey! i applied RD and was accepted todaaaay! so i guess the decisions have started though it might be because i'm an international.
