I can't be the only one. I think summer is pretty boring. This is possibly the most boring summer I've ever had. At the end of school I was at the point where it was so much fun that I didn't want to leave.

I hang out with friends frequently, but even more frequently during school. And there aren't any teachers I see everyday and poke fun at.

I’m not dying to go back, but it would be nice to see my teachers and friends again.

I’m still kind of burned out from junior year, so I’m not in a rush to go back and get a mountain of homework. I agree that the summer has been pretty boring, but I’d rather be bored than constantly stressed and tired.

At year round schools, you go for 9 weeks and then get a three week break. You also get holidays off. There’s a one week break between the end of a grade and the beginning of another. It’s pretty great.

I never get anything done during the summer (which might be due to the fact I sleep until eleven). During the school year I am actually somewhat productive.

I really want to go back to school. I really hate the fact that I visit lots of relative which can be a day after or a whole week and than I got to babysit my little brother. The one that I hate the most is that my brother takes me fishing out in the hot sun on my day off when I don’t want to fish.

Are you kidding me? I love summer, because I get tons of time to tackle my reading list and study things that I actually enjoy vs. doing the busy work my teachers assign.

going back means college apps will be due soon --> I need to do them --> I need to write 15+ essays for a 10% chance of getting admitted --> I will most likely be unhappy with the results --> I will do them anyway --> I will nervously hit submit 10 times --> I will have the most agonizing wait in history from january to march --> I will probably be dissappointed

Same, @sunsh0wers, but I’m still pretty excited for another year of craziness. I have high hopes for my junior year and everything seems to be going better than expected
