<p>I got a 3/19 update.. and as the general trend of another update with the oasis link has been going on... i havent received another update. This makes me wonder if they looked at my application.. and then put it in the rejection pile??? I dunno..</p>

<p>3/19 Critical Studies Here is a theory regarding SCA:</p>
<p>On the 18th and 19th SCA made their decisions. If people were already admitted to the university the yes or no decision to SCA went out. If people were easy admits to the university, because of test scores/GPA but had not yet been admitted, their packages were also sent out admitting them to SCA. The rest of us who received updates around that time have passed muster with SCA but now need the "regular" admission department to approve us as well.</p>
<p>Might just be wishful thinking but it seems to me from here and facebook that not that enough production/critical studies accepts have gone out.</p>

<p>coachmike- I've heard two other theories that are basically the same thing. I believe it was Roar who stated that he knew a professor who said it worked that way (but didn't mention how the status updates played in). Lets hope that we're all just waiting for all these main office acceptances to get sent out.</p>
<p>I am sure that is how it works. This professor (one of the endowed chair people [I assume they know what they are talking about]) deals only with grad students so I can't get specific information. We can only guess where they are in the process. </p>
<p>Someone should call the main admin office and ask if all of the production acceptances are out.</p>

<p>luckygirl1791- basically in the same situation... it wouldn't appear that many acceptances have gone out... so maybe we are just waiting in the main office. I would call them but I can't find the main admissions direct phone number. Anyone know it?</p>
<p>KOHR, I really hope so. I'm freaking out a bit more than usual because there were a few people on facebook already accepted into the writing program, which means ever-dwindling spots...</p>

<p>I got an update on the 3/16 and the status still says that the committee is reviewing my application. Does that mean I will probably end up getting a rejection letter?</p>
