thanks gcards1... true, i should be thankful (i'm the only one from my school who has heard back from usc yet), but of course, i'd like to blame the fact i didn't get an interview on something that i have absolutely NO control over... like legacy haha.

i guess the thing that just bugs me about it is that if i had gotten the interview it would have been like "okay, this means usc is definitely where i'm supposed to be". it would have been really clear, which would have been nice (to say the least). i guess i shouldn't look too deep into it, but it would just be great to have some CLEAR direction as to where i'm supposed to be next year.

i know, i know... i'm not the only one dealing with this college-choosing anxiety. but it's still tough.

i guess i'll just be crossing my fingers for one of the other scholarships?

^ Just keep in mind that most people (besides those that got in ED somewhere) don't know where they're going to go, especially since they haven't heard back from all of their colleges. You're not the only one on that boat :)

OMG. you guys have such high stats....
I got trustee invitation thingi and my stats are totally not high...
I have no idea what they are looking for...

SATI(in one sitting) - 2020
SATII-mathII800, Kor800, Bio730
uwGPA-3.9

seriously/// my stats kinda suck... average at most.

I got an invite to trustee. My stats aren't as high as others:
SAT: 790 math, 700 writing, 730 crit. reading
SAT II: 800 math II, 720 French, 730 Lit
BUT
I'm from Canada and we don't prep in pur schools there at all (SATs aren't a part of the Canadian application process) plus I'm #2 in my school, and have done things like gone on exchange. Plus, I chose Critical Studies in the School of Cinema Television for my major, which isn't very common. I'm really scared now though with all these amazing SAT scores I've been reading.

my SATs aren't anywhere near perfect. my grades aren't so great either--probably top 10% of class at best. no legacy. but i got invited for trustee. it's totally a crapshoot--who knows what they're looking for.

on the other hand, i was looking over my application again, and i really liked my essays. maybe they helped.

I got a trustee invite, but I doubt I got it, my interview sucked. Not to mention my stats are not even close to some of you. I had a 2220 (760M, 730V, 730W), 34 ACT, TERRIBLE sat II, 97% (no GPA), 17/392. My EC's are ok, and I am president of a student run business and applied to Marshall. My essays must have realy kicked ass.

....right now.. i'm reminding myself to be thankful and grateful... (2280 SAT and i got a dean's scholarship)
congrats to all of you who receive trustee's!

well. I interviewed for trustees.. but I ended up with Dean's.

I should be really happy and grateful though.
since my SATI was 2020.. (totally unlike any of you.. your stats are so high!)

it's just that they interviewed me for trustees and you know, you tend to hope for it when you get there even though you know you don't really have a chance... congratz to everyone who got trustees:)

^ Haven't gotten my letter yet, but...anyone know what getting the trustee scholarship is based on? Is it all on the interview? Or stats as well?
