<p>Mail just came (SoCal): Yelling! Jumping! Crying! <---me. S just got the letter from USC postmarked 3/21. He got Trustee Scholarship. </p>
<p>Hoping to hear more good news from ccers soon.</p>
<p>How much does the trustee scholarship awards? And how do you qualify for it?</p>
<p>its a full-tuition scholarship...and you have to be absolutely ridiculously amazing. Its like top 1%.</p>

nominees were accepted in January and had to go to an overnight session at USC and interview for the scholarship and everything.</p>
<p>They notified finalists at the end of January (first wave), held interviews at ExploreUSC sessions in Feb, but we weren't expecting to get results until March 28 or later. </p>
<p>The specific college has input into finalists, I believe, and conducts the interviews. My S is in the School of Cinematic Arts - Interactive Media (computer game design). We are still in shock.</p>

<p>You got the letter already?? I just got my "interviewers were happy to have met you" letter which was postmarked 3/14. What school did he interview with?</p>
<p>madbean, did u interview at the first date, or which explore session did u participate in? maybe the dates would be different for the different times...</p>
<p>The School of Cinematic Arts. And as an aside, my S never got any letter or card after the interview, which had me a bit concerned.</p>

<p>There were 2 Explore dates for Trustee interviews and my S was at the first (2/21) but was told they wait to interview all candidates for Trustee before making decisions. Presidential interviews were on three later dates but I see molliemeow has received her Presidential award letter today as well. btw, we are both in SoCal so our letters must have gotten to us the fastest.</p>

<p>OMG, my D received the Trustee too!!!! this makes us so happy!!! In the mailbox today...my D fell to her knees and screamed in the street lol!
Not expecting to hear anything till end of month, and honestly we were thinking it wouldn't be.</p>

<p>And, GroovyGeek. LOL. Lucky my S doesn't read cc so can't get big ideas. I'm afraid we will be saving all pennies for S2 (currently in 9th grade), that is if we survive this wild ride with S1.</p>

<p>My son just received his letter today that he received the TRUSTEE scholarship! We are so happy!! Congrats to all who received an award today. BTW we are in California (southern). My son interviewed on 2-25 session.</p>
