15 minutes from Sacramento, which is the capital of the most populous (and third largest) state and has an international airport. An hour from San Francisco, and a couple of hours away from Lake Tahoe. Yeah, definitely the middle of nowhere.

I’m sorry you weren’t accepted, but let’s not downplay Davis now, hmm?

just cant help but take a few punches at the school thats probably gonna reject me at the end of the month. I did the same thing with Irvine and Santa Barbara as a method of coping. If I were to just shout praises about how great Davis is here it would probably make me more depressed.

Daughter just received email from Davis stating that they are unable to offer her admission at this time!! So much for long drawn out waitlist!!! Oh well, she is very excited about UW :-)

When I read here how kids would just LOVE to attend UC Davis, I feel bad that my daughter turned up her nose at it and didn’t accept their offer. Same with USC or the other schools she chose not to attend. It’s almost it affects *me *more than it does her! It makes me wonder if she should have given it more consideration. But, I also realize she can only pick one school, so unless it was the only one she applied to, there will be others she needs to turn down. Too bad they couldn’t choose them *all *and spend time at each one! LOL Seriously, though, she’ll do just fine at Cal Poly SLO.

wow are you joking I waited this long just to get rejected LOL. gay…I’m not even mad that I didn’t get in I’m just mad that I had to wait this long to hear back, given a bunch of false hope.

anyways, guess this is my last time on CC, not much else to do now that admissions are set. LATER!!! (and see you guys at UCSC)
