<p>Who here has to take a final in an AP class when they've already taken the exam? I don't have one in AP english, but I do in AP US history and AP physics.</p>
<p>i have to take all my exams for all my classes. That means AP lit, AP us gov, AP macroeconomics, and AP french. it sux.</p>
<p>They take the finals before the AP exams at my school. In AP Euro they have to take a final since it's only an AP class if you take the test.</p>
<p>All my teachers are toying with the idea but I really doubt any of them will give us finals. Most of them can't wait to get out of school...</p>

<p>My school has a policy where if seniors have at least a B, they can be exempt from taking final exams. I don't think this rule is formal, since I know that last year, many seniors who had C averages still were exempt from taking exams.</p>
<p>So far, it looks like I won't be taking any final exams this year. Except for maybe Calc...which would suck greatly.</p>
<p>Basically none of our teachers make senior take finals unless they are on the verge of failing.</p>

<p>mine are on wednesday....right b4 the ap macro exam....and i have to take them ALL that day, too. <em>sigh</em> but then i'll be done. WOOT!</p>

<p>For US History, we do a group project (powerpoint) and present it to the class.</p>
<p>US Govt - an oral presentation on public policy.</p>
<p>I hate projects though, especially group ones. I'd rather take a big multiple choice exam for each of those classes.</p>
<p>NYS students still have to take the Regents exam after taking the corresponding AP exam. My D will take the AP exam this month in US History and in late June she'll have to take the US History Regents. I doubt she's much concerned about the Regents exam, however. More of a necessary annoyance.</p>
<p>At all school, students of any grade can be exempt from the final in a class if they have an 89.5 average for the year.</p>

<p>we take our finals for our ap classes before the ap..and the finals are basically ap tests. and if you have an a in a non-ap class, you might not have to take the final (based on the teacher). so i only have one final this year, and its a college class that i take at school. pretty sweet. =).</p>
<p>Took ap exams (chem and euro) before the actual tests. Therefore, five exams await and I've got seven final projects to do... life's just grand lately.</p>
