<p>I heard a couple of students at my school already got into NYU. Who has heard already, and what school did you apply to? I thought we were supposed to find out early April...</p>

<p>They sent out e-mails supposedly “randomly” but I think those were sent out to “likelies”. We still have a chance.</p>
<p>I got a likely email. People have called in and the admission office has confirmed that if you got an email suggesting that you look into travel plans to NYC in April, it means you’re in. Usually likelies are only sent to a small subset of admitted applicants though, so don’t despair :)</p>
<p>I got a “Book your travel plans” e-mail on 3/19 and a brochure/acceptance letter for LSP via mail on 3/15.</p>

<p>Did NYU send those emails to all the students who got in or only random ones?
I’m a bit confused with NYU’s methods at the moment. I was told they send all the decisions by mail and that we would find out early April. However, I see that many people heard by email as early as ten days before the 1st. I hope that doesn’t mean the people who haven’t found out yet got rejected :S</p>
<p>nope they sent those emails to some people who have already been accepted. you still have until April 1st to find out though. they might just be taking a longer time reviewing your application. good luck:)</p>
