Who here applied ED?

Thanks for your answer. The refresh button is going to be my best friend for the next few days.

So i heard from friend#1 that her friend got accepted through CAS

and I just heard that one of my other friends (we’ll call her Friend#2) that two of her friends got accepted in to CAS today

All not in LSP.

Other than those 3 cases though, I haven’t heard of anyone I am in direct contact with that has heard anything back yet

***. I applied to CAS.
ohhhhhhh mannnn. Am I pretty much rejected now?

Noo, I applied to CAS too. They come out in waves. So between now and dec 15 is all fair game

the only thing is, I called NYU today, and they said emails will be sent out on dec 15. idk, its getting confusing

@cmwx122 Are you in-state or out-of-state?

@raytardd, Honestly, it’s too early to tell. I’m seriously nervous as hell right now hearing about this but I think the e-mails are just sent out in waves so people will be hearing from them all throughout the week unpredictably.

Out-of-state

But I haven’t heard back from NYU yet. These are only friends of friends who I heard got accepted today. I’m still waiting for an email

Why is NYU doing this to ussss!!!
Why can’t they just send everyone’s on one day?!
arghhhhhhh, are they purposely trying to give us a heart attack?

Why do they keept saying that they will send it out on the 15th when, clearly, others have already received their acceptance emails? It’s so darn frustrating.

What doesn’t kill us makes us stronger, eh?

I think those who’ve been accepted were accepted to LSP.

cmwx122, what number did you call for NYU? I want to call them myself. I have to find out what’s going on!!!

Ohhohh let me know, too. lol

guys call (212) 998-4500 make up something about how you have a REALLY specific question about whether all the materials have been received or something because albert is being weird etc say you need to speak to an ADMISSIONS COUNSELOR, because the people who answer the phone are STUDENTS.

This thread is making my hyperventilate a little bit haha. I thought I was going to be okay, waiting 9 more days, but if they are just coming out whenever…that’s scary! I’m just scared that I will somehow accidentally open the email in school and have a mental breakdown. Only one other person in my entire school applied to NYU so I’m kind of on my own haha.

P.S. to all the people asking who applied to Steinhardt…I’m one of them  Elementary Education!

@fhaselroth will they tell you if you got in or not over the phone if you call that number?

Not at all. I was just responding to the people who wanted to know the number to ask about how decision emails were being sent.

Wow, the fact that people are hearing this early really makes me worry…
I already think I won’t get in just because, so this just makes it worse, haha. I applied to Steinhardt, by the way.

thanks i was like no way would they do that!
im freaking out i havnt heard anything from NYU in ages like mail wise… grrr im freaking out. 15th couldnt come fast enough. Does anyone know if anyone from tisch film has been lsped?

This wait is killing me. I haven’t gotten anything from NYU recently, email or mail, until a couple days ago I got a student news letter about diversity and first year experience in a residence hall. I don’t think it means much anyway. I’m just really nervous, especially since a girl at my school got LSP’d and these waves of acceptance emails NYU is apparently giving out.
