DD is going to commit to Penn this week. Who in the 2018 class has committed to Penn so far?

Congratulations! Good decision. ;)

Committed here(Does ED count?). Wharton. Can’t wait until August!

Congrats! Just curious, following on from another thread, what factors finally helped her reach this decision.

My D has decided to commit as well! We had to talk it out, compare opportunities and discuss the future.

^ Congratulations to both you and your daughter!

congrats picktails, It seemed like you were leaning toward Penn from the start, so I am glad your DD agreed.

Hi Overseasmom,

Penn and Columbia both did a great job at their Student Days too, and there were moments when she was thinking briefly that she would go to Columbia, but in the end, she decided Penn was better for her.

In trying to decide, we were focussed on which school achieved the best combination of academics, overall student experience, and job/graduate school opportunities after college. Overall, we felt that Columbia was very strong academically, but the overall student experience, and job prospects seemed to be a little better at Penn.

Nice! We wish her a great four years ahead of her!

So what about housing? Is everyone requesting the quad residences as first choice?

There must be more Regular Decision admits that have decided to commit to Penn. Come on, stand up and be counted. Be proud Quakers!

^ Within a couple of weeks, The Daily Pennsylvanian will publish an article about this year’s yield, and then they definitely will be counted. :)

Finally I did Penn Engineering . I am excited and I hope it will meet my expectations. :)

Congratulations pr4321!
