<p>Hey, so this Friday I finally decided to apply early decision to WashU. I was wondering what other people are applying...stats and etc.</p>
<p>GPA: 4.2 Weighted/3.7 Unweigted
SAT: 2240 (790M, 730R, 720W)
SAT II: Chem 700, Math IIC 760, Bio 800
ACT: 32
EC: Varsity tennis (County Champion, State Champion, Captain), DNA Research (Published sequence, Vice President), B'Nai Brith Youth Organization (Communications Chair), French Club (Secretary, Honors Soceity)</p>
<p>I'm applying ED
GPA: 3.96 UW, school doesn't weight Rank 2/225 (about)
ACT: 31 (probably higher on October test though, will find out Wed)
EC: Varsity Tennis, work at investment bank, trading, etc...many more I don't feel like listing</p>
<p>What are those gpa's out of?</p>

<p>I do know of a few places near where I live that take gpa out of 5. Weird stuff.</p>
<p>our weighted gpa is on a 4 scale.
but an A+ in AP is a 5.4 and in H is a 5.
i'm not exactly sure how that counts as being out of 4, probably because an A in regular classes is a 4.0. our school has a tendency to do things in odd and confusing ways.</p>
<p>^hi MJ....it kinda doesn't really matter, unless you have class rank (which I don't think you do?)....Most, if not all, schools will calculate your unweighted GPA.....including Wash U.</p>
