Who is my regional admissions officer? Is it the same as the application processor?

Hello! I was waitlisted at WashU (sadness), and I want to address a letter to my regional admissions officer. It says on my decision notification that if I have any questions, I should contact my application processor, who is Debra Gomez. Is she my admissions officer as well? There offices aren't open today, so I can't contact them yet, and I want to get this done as soon as possible. Thanks!

If it helps, I live in Western Massachusetts, near Springfield. My guidance counselor told me that Julia Kobus used to be the admissions officer, but he thinks (though he's not sure) she switched departments or regions in WashU. Also, would it preferable if I sent an email or letter? I'm leaning towards letter, but I'm not to sure. Thanks!

While I would assume that they are different names for the same job,I don’t actually know if that’s the case. Regardless, I’d contact the person they told you to. Email vs. mail depends on how formal your letter is. If you’re writing to just ask a question or two, or updating your resume, then email should be fine. If you’re writing an appeal letter or something of the sort, then mail would likely be more appropriate.

What high school do you go to? I am from W Mass also. I am a Fr at WashU.
