<p>I have taken the SAT twice and I got a 2120 the second time. I was fairly happy with that, but seeing that I'm applying to Yale I felt my scores needed a bit of a boost so I'm trying the ACT instead. I'm going to study with a private tutor.</p>
<p>first time will be in february, i'm trying to go through Barron's right now but would not recommend it, it seems really hard and is making me frustrated since I score alot higher with other practice test. The tips and strategies seem to help though.</p>
<p>i just made the stupidest mistake while trying to register for ACT; i chose the wrong test site. Now, I have to pay 20$. AHHHHHH!!!!!!</p>
<p>anyways, sptink232, isnt barrons good though as in it overprepares you? I want to get a 33 really bad so I think I am going to go through that and just retake the official tests over and over until I get 36s in all of them.</p>
<p>im considering taking the act again in feburary since i want a 35 or 36 super score. Every time i take the stupid test, most of my scores go up and very rarely do they go down so my superscore is my highest testing score of a 34 :(</p>
