who is under the minimum unit req?

I am enrolled in 3 classes (math54, econ100b and anthro 121ac) and those are 12 units. I am waitlisted in 3 classes (japanese10a, ugba120a, and anthro 2ac). I am just wondering how many people are in the same boat as me and how likely is it for me to get in to one of the classes that im waitlisted in. and what fun classes should i take to meet the 13 unit req?

1) Depends on how far up those waitlists you are.
2) Take a seminar (fss.berkeley.edu) or a DeCal (decal.org).

Bear facts says I have 12 units but I signed up for more classes. Right now I am waitlisted for one class. I am on financial aid so I have to have 13 units so I signed up for a random class that at least fulfills the AC. If I get into my waitlisted class I will drop my AC class. You should look into the seminars. They have one on Islands and another on movies produced by Ang Lee.

same boat as you? definitely. I only have 8 units enrolled. :(
number 5 on waitlist for 2 unit seminar, and number 20 or so for Education 190 (but everyone is waitlisted in that class because we have to write an essay or something)

heh. 4 units here... waitlisted in 3 classes -_-

only 8 units guranteed =(

im waitlisted for

math16A--12 on waiting list
history of art--6 on waiting list

need to sign up for math adjunct course but i dont know how...

lol my problem's the opposite. i got too many units -___- 18
recommended classes (nice profs, interesting material) that still have room as of last night: astronomy 10, philosophy 6, geography 10

i would recommend that you take 15-16 units of real class

You could add one of the TRSP seminars for transfer students, it is a 1 unit class. I did that, but might drop it later for a De-Cal instead.

yea i have 9 units down
math 1a, german r5a and chem c96
waitlisted on
chem 4a and anthro 2ac.

Okay, so tomorrow is the last day to change my schedule, but I have 12 units enrolled and one unit on the waitlist.
Am I okay?

how do you still have one unit on the waitlist? and if you’re l/s I don’t think that’s okay, but I’m not sure.

All of you on financial aid, you only need to take 12 units to maintain your eligibility. Here is the financial aid eligibility site link… [UC Berkeley Financial Aid Office: Undergraduates Maintaining Eligibility](http://students.berkeley.edu/finaid/undergraduates/eligibility.htm)

It says, “You are expected to attend full time. At Berkeley that is 12 units for financial aid purposes.”

while that may be true for financial aid, if you’re in Letters and Science, you need 13 units.

wow. this thread is old.
