I plan on retaking SAT I for sure. I’m debating about what to do with my SAT IIs. Any ideas?

What are my shots at these schools:
UCR
UCI
UCSB
UCSD
UCLA
UCB
Occidental
Pitzer
USC
BU
RPI
Cal poly Pomona
Cal poly SLO

Any other school suggestions??

Thanks in advance.

bump... bump

Not really familiar with the colleges, but...
I'd say retake both subject tests
I took both Chem and Math 2, and I found out that even scores appear high, they are actually in low percentiles
according to this link...

God bless you in you college process!

Which USC?? And which BU?

UCLA might be difficult, as it is mostly number-based admission. While your GPA is good, your SAT might present a problem.

^As for what schools? well i plan on majoring at the moment in applied mathematics or some type of physical science...

You'd have to show that you're a good fit at Pitzer to gain admission.

@ ivyleaguewannabe - i think that SheerReflection is referring to University of Southern California, since the majority of his schools seem to be in CA.

Your ECs are a bit weak, but you'll probably be able to get into the "lower-tier" UC's if you bump up your SATs.

whats your prospective major?

nevermind lol, just saw it...

"You'd have to show that you're a good fit at Pitzer to gain admission."

And how would i be able to do this?

And yes by USC i mean university of southern california.

i suppose its by showing your quirkiness, in the essay and what not

Your biggest weakness is def your SATs (I and II). Retake both SAT IIs or take a new one to bring your scores up to par.

^ As of right now how do i look with those colleges?

Also i do def. plan on retaking the SATs.

I don't think Pitzer cares about 'quirkiness', more like social activism, community involvement, thinking big picture, that sort of thing.

^I understand. How about the other schools on my list?
