<p>I'm not clear, so some help would be appreciated. Besides the QuestBridge people, who is given the QB application and reads it and the essays? That is, if colleges are ranked, do each of those ranked colleges get a copy of the student's QB application and do they read it and the essays or is the QB application just sent to the colleges but not read by those ranked colleges (in which case, the colleges really just prefer to read the common application and their own supplement). And, the same question for those colleges applied to, with QB, for Regular Decision? So, do the colleges read the QB essays? Thank you.</p>
<p>This question has been asked before on various QB forums and websites with no definitive answer. The consensus tends to be that no one outside admissions really knows how much weight colleges give to the QB app vs the CA (if they require the CA, not all partner schools do) but they wouldn’t request that the QB app be forwarded if they didn’t read it…so giving them both your best shot is probably the best strategy…</p>
