Do you think it would matter if I asked 2 science teachers for recs? Most English/social studies/Language teachers tend to not like me, and if they don't dislike me, I dont think I know they know me well enough to write a solid rec. The Princeton admissions website doesnt say anything about the teachers being from different subjects. Also, I'm planning in majoring in some kind of science. Would this be ok, or should I worry? Thanks a lot.

I would get recs from teachers in different departments in order to show your abilities across different areas. This is what a PTon adcom told me over the phone.

Anyone else?

Its good to mix your recs a bit. I'm using English and maths. I heard that too like Legendofmax said.

are math and physics considered as two different departments?

i think so. Physics would be a science, and math is, well, math.

so they don't have to be one in humanity and another in natural science?
