Who to email in admissions office

I have an abnormal situation (I homeschooled for one year of high school) that will probably be handled differently at each college I apply to and effects the way I should fill out applications. I am e-mailing all of the colleges I'm applying to to ask them how they would like me to handle it but I'm not sure who to send the e-mail to. Most websites have an e-mail to use for asking admissions questions, but then they link to a list of admissions officers, each with their own e0mail adress, and a list of the geographic regions each is responsible for.

Should I e-mail my question to the main admissions office or to my admissions officer? If I e-mail my admissions officer, should it be the one asigned to my geographical area, or to homeschooled students?

Thanks!

Email the geographical area officer. They'll be reading your application.

Thank you!

How do you find out who the geographical officer is? Are their information listed on school admission website, or do I call them and ask the receptionist?

It's usually listed on the website. You look for the Contact Admissions info, and usually they tell you who to contact depending on the region. Sometimes they just give you one phone number for the Admissions Office--that works too.
