Who to write my Recommendation Letter

Hey,
So I spoke to my vice-director (also my Higher English professor) from my school (high school) and told me, since he is v.busy, and since I'm in a v.good relationship, he gave me a chance for me to write my own recommendation letter (he told me if I want, he can write one for me, but I want to go with the other option :) ).

My question, where can I find a person online who will write a professional recommendation letter, so my professor can sign and confirm it? I don't mind paying.

Thanks

He’s asking you to write it, which is a common practice on the grad level and is not unheard of on the high school level. Not a stranger online, but you. This is because you know what you’d lke to highlight best-- how would a stranger online know enough about you to really write about you and your accomplishments and your character traits?

I was thinking, to talk with an editor briefly, he questions me, I answer , and also give all the info I can, and he writes one based on the info I have given him.

Second that!

I am sure he never meant for you to outsource this job to some hack online. I think it’s just plain wrong for you to try, and if I knew where you could find such a person, I wouldn’t tell you.

Keep in mind even though your TE asked you to write it, it doesnt mean that he wont read it. You have a good te here the last thing you want is to give him something untruthful or unoriginal.

@mitch, I never said I will give him a fake one, it will all be the truth, just need an editor to help me, I will tell him all the info, and he writes it down, I won’t lie, Obviously.

I don’t think this should be outsourced at all. I also don’t believe any student should be writing their own recommendation letter, but that’s just me. I think it is OK to make a bullet point list of, for example, some adjectives your peers might use to describe you, any key things you want the teacher to point out, maybe even a unique story that you remember of something that happened with you and the teacher. But actually writing it? Not cool in my mind. The irony is that if someone did this while in high school, had someone else write a paper and you sign your name, it would be PLAGIARISM and cause for expulsion… and yet a teacher is telling the student to do the same thing.

This is for college letter of recommendation, right? I clarify because you use the word ‘professional’.

No, not just you, Momof2back2back. Me, too, and I’m sure we’re not the only two.
