Because of some troubles with collegeboard, Penn did not receive my SAT scores. So I had to rush them and they will get them on November 17.

So, will they throw out my app b/c they don’t have my scores? When will they look at my app (if they look at my app)? Do they email you if they are missing something first? Am I totally screwed?

If they had gotten to your app already and saw that your scores were not present, they would have emailed you or contacted you in some way. I’m sure you’re fine.

Thanks, Laodicean; I was just a little nervous because I spent a ton of time on my app and it would just suck if they just threw it out b/c of the test scores.

This is a question just in general for everyone:

What is everyone doing right now college application-wise; have people already started filling out their RD apps?

Yeah, I know what you mean. I would be devastated if that happened to me.

Most of the schools I’m applying to don’t have supplements, so I only have 2 to fill out if I don’t get into Penn (Yale and Stanford). I’ll probably start them soon … they’re both nightmares by the looks of it…

I’ve sent in one rolling admissions app (safety) and other medical program deadlines are early too so I sent those in already. My RD Apps? Haha probably won’t get majority of those done until winter break

What’s even more ironic about mensa160’s post is that his/her username is MENSA…aka, the name of the world’s smartest individual’s organization.

Another question for all you fellow CCers. Assuming I get the honor of being deferred, do you think it would help if I send in another SAT score that is 150 - 200 points higher than the one Penn has already?

I applied Early Decision to Wharton and the Jerome Fisher M&T Program

I completed the optional essay as well.

I am From Houston, TX (Sugar Land/southwest side of town) everyone else from here hit me up! and everyone else who hopes to attend Upenn next near

P.S. just did my interview today with a M&T Alumni…it was about 1hr 45min long and the majority of it was abstract thinking and conversational. It really makes you think!

^ You’ll find out then (end of November or beginning of December) when they’re going to release the decisions (sorry if that was a bit confusing :)). They’ll let you know the exact date and time that you can log on and get your decision here:
