Who's applying for Spring transfer 09'-Cornell

The tuition is roughly the same as most private colleges out there I'd say.

Right, but generally it's the private colleges with tons of $$$ that are ranked really high.

Cornell's contract colleges are a sweet deal for New Yorkers, I have to say. Tuition is like $20,000 instead of $36,000 (that's tuition only, add on meal plan/housing/books). yeah, I really would love to go to HumanEc...

Sayitmd, have you heard back yet? HumEc seems to be one of the last colleges to release decisions.

Ahhh, I still haven't heard back from CAS. I hope something didn't get lost along the way. Is anyone else waiting for a decision from CAS?

I'll call tomorrow to check...

Actually...I don't have to! :)

Accepted to CAS. Ohhh, I still cannot believe it...

Me too! Congratulations mathemagicia10! We did it!

Congratulations DarkStar and Mathemagicia!

Anybody else still waiting to hear? still no news here...

I'm still waiting , ILR. Called yesterday Ian said I may hear next week? Isnt there a deldine?. Not encouraging. Pmarol where does your daughter go, what were her stats and what school is she applying to?

Mathemaic Drkstar..what were your stats roughly even though I'm aaplying to ILR havne t ehard. Where do you currently attend?

Congrat s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!What a celebration!

Contrats Darkstar and mathemagicia10!

woooo congrats you two.

Thanks guys, and I hope the rest of you hear back soon.

I am currently a university freshman. I want to apply to Cornell but my SAT scores are not good enough. Can I retake them and apply??

Congrats guys!!

Anyone else having trouble logging into housing? When I try with my applicant ID all I get is: "Either your session has timed out or you are not currently logged in.

Please visit the University login page to log in."

I went ahead and emailed housing about it, but it really sucks because I want to get housing taken care of asap.

hermanns, I just called about that! Haha, good timing.

It's because we're not in the housing system yet. It's updated weekly, but I'll be checking tomorrow to see if their system is updated.

Keep trying. It works after a few times. If not try logging in indirectly.
I got a Mennen Hall single. Dewdrop, would you happen to know anything about this dorm besides that it's a gothic? Apparently the singles are really big.

Blahpid, when you say not good enough.. how far off do you mean? if you don't mind saying what they are that would help. As a transfer, some schools (i'm only familiar with ILR) do not require SATs. My SATs are certainly nothing spectacular, and my SAT IIs were a disgrace, so don't put too much weight on one number.

Ahh, thanks for the congratulations, guys.

I'm looking at the different types of housing spaces...do they assign us one, or can we pick?

It seems like Cascadilla Hill would be nice...

Though I can't seem to log in yet.

Mathemagicia WOW thanks for the trouble you took for those stats. Impressive...Guam!!! didnt think anyone really lived there . But it really does sound like a diverse and very interesting backgound. No doubt Cornell saw that... again Thanks and Congratulations!!
