Who's going to hopkins

fjchowdhury, History of Science and Technology is a sweet department. Dr. Stewart Leslie is a professor of that field. If you can get a class with him, do it! He's possibly the most engaging and influential teacher I've had in my life.

Yeah, it is awesome. I actually talked to him for about an hour and he seems like a really awesome guy. The department was my biggest selling point to the school because it's a small department with really awesome teachers from what I can see.

I'm goin too. Can't wait to start. BME here.

Political Science, maybe IR if I decide too suck it up and take a language.

International Relations is the most popular major on campus.
I'm impressed to see so many people interested in business. I would hope JHU would start an undergraduate business program or maybe even a real MBA program, of course if they do that they better put lots of $ behind it and make sure it's fantastic. They can have some sort of International Business program that co-exists with SAIS and they can use the fame and reputation of SAIS to boost the program, as well as a Medical Business program and use the medical school.
Just my $0.02
Also, same with law.

Hey to all you 2010 people... I am going to Hopkins in the fall, and I am trying to figure out what to take for my elective social sciences/humanities class.
I am thinking about something like an intro to psych or sociology, any suggestions? I don't want anything that is really hard, since I think the classes in my major are going to be keeping me pretty busy.
