o "Public Enemy - Black Steel in the Hour of Chaos" is one song, not two

<---Thug.

Gee, gee, gee, gee, gee, you knit.

I like Rap. THere are so many great rappers out there. My favorites are Missy Elliot and Kanye West. Who's videos aren't degrading.

Rap is poetry to a tight beat. Whats yo probleM?

That reminds me of a joke.

It was Eminem's brithday. 50 cent came and gay him a sweater for his bday. Eminem liked the sweater and say "Gee, you knit?" LOLOL!! :O OMGZ!!

Oh, man. I love the Gorrillaz. They are cool man.

Mase is mad good too

Cowgirlatheart, if you've actually listened to any of the groups listed by RC0813, you'll understand that they have plenty of musical talent. Pop artists have no inherent talent, not rap artists. Plenty of people say the same thing about rock music, but that's only because most people don't ever go beyond pop rock. There's plenty of good rap out there as long as you bother to look.

i don't think mase is good at all. just my opinion. btw i'm listening to john legend right now and i recommend it to anyone. even though it talks about cheating but still loving who you are with, it also has great songs about love and how you can overcome anything with it. anyway, i love the smooth sound of legend's songs. i love common too. even that short mtv commercial he did about aid/hiv was incredible. i believe poetry is worlds better when its heard. everyone should buy DEF POETRY seasons 1-3. its great....

Rapping is a medical condition known as over active tongue syndrome, commonly found in people being shot 9 times with a paintball gun.Ask 50 Cent. LOL!

The only people in that scene I have respect are Eminem (because of the honesty in his lyrics), Nas and 2Pac.

coqui, John Legend is AMAZING! He's also very honest and just a very good song writer.

Eminem used to be good. But now with songs such as "Ass Like That," he sucks hard like the majority of rappers.

Yeah, he was honest 3 years ago. Now he's garbage.

yes i LOVE john legend. i can listen to his cd a million time and not get tired of it.

i've never like eminem since the day he started. "my name is who? my name is what? my name is who? sig-a-sig-a slim shady." cmon, how can you ever come back from such crappiness. and yes i've listened to all his cd's.

I agree Eminen is on a ski slope but I look at him like a real person not a rapper. The life he had was disturbing,so I big him up for the balls to get up and rap about it.The Eminem Show I must ad is like no other!!!

Oh, Eminem Show is almost perfect. No doubt - I own it. I personally just don't like his recent stuff, though "Like Toy Soldiers" was an exception.

everyone always says eminem when asked who's the greatest rapper but he's just the most main stream. even eminem would name five rappers whose lyrcics are deeper. the problem is that every suburban teen buys eminems albums and requests him on trl so thats all we ever get to hear. he's the safe rapper for fly over rebels.

Once I heard Superman I thought there was a tart side to Eminen! When I was in school (seems like centuries ago),the boys would crowd together listening to Eminem to "fit in" it was a 17 month phase to be in the hard gangs of St.Eddies.It was lame not to mention the fact that most of them looked like choir boys anyway.By year 11 all the boys' alterego was either Dre,Marshall or the title of a rap song.Crazy stuff.....

i also think eminem is the rapper most suburban people can relate with. his mom was bad, he had a crazy girlfriend, he lost a friend close to him, and nobody beleived in him (of course this is all accroding to him). anyone can relate to that.

little people in surburbia can relate to the ghetto, drug hustlin, crackheads, and constant violence that other rappers (mainstream and not) rap about.

but of course not all rappers rap about drugs and violence in their neighborhood, i know. i'm just saying why some many people like eminem. he's the quintessential teenager. and also it's easier for white people to support a white rapper, i'm just saying.

i totally agree, but i think that his popularity is also in part to his approchable-ness to suburban kids, as opposed to big scary black men. ;)
that doesn't make him the best, though.

<- sick of rap music. It's all the same.
