<p>A nice medium is certain government jobs. I know a few friends who graduated and landed government legal jobs at the federal level working for the FTC and whatnot. They don't quite make 6 figures but they have nice benefits and pretty good benefits.</p>
<p>I think it is inaccurate to say it does not matter where you went to medical school. Admissions to top residencies is very competetive and coming from a well-known (and LOR from well-known doctors will help one's chances when applying to residencies and fellowships). </p>
<p>I agree that once doctors are Board certified where they went to school becomes far less important.</p>
<p>well, dont doctors these days get a lot of malpractice suits? and i'd hate to know the cost of 10 years of residency...</p>
