<p>What’s the word limit on the essay about the academic areas that interest you most and why are you applying to Brown? I’m applying in paper and I didn’t see any word limit, but the space given to write it was only a few lines. Should it just be a short blurb or a full essay? Thanks!</p>
<p>1500 characters...its about 3/4 of a page double spaced...or at least mine was</p>
<p>The Brown website gives a limit (including spaces) of 1500 characters. That roughs out to about 250 words.</p>
