Month four of searching for a roommate and I still have yet to receive one request or even a reply from the multiple emails, friend requests, and texts I've sent out. Am I the only one having a problem with this, or does everyone basically room with their friends from highschool? I have a profile and description and I've done the reaching out, but nothing seems to work. Should I just start begging people from my highschool to take me or do I need to just let UGA give me a roommate I probably won't like and deal with it? (and why does UGA only give you one page to look through when browsing similar roommates or through profile questions?)

UGA’S Dawg House is a horribly inefficient and terribly designed website. And I’m sorry. :c There’s actually a “UGA Class of 2018” Facebook page I think you should join. Lots of outgoing people on there. You can post your bio on the main page and 1000 people will see it. Try to keep it interesting and specific rather than the general “I like to party but I know when to work hard” stuff. Maybe the problem is you want to live at a dorm no one else likes? Good luck!
