Hi so I recently got an email from MIT admissions saying that I got an interview but I never applied there. I used to be interested in MIT bc my smol idiot self thought I had a chance at MIT. So what’s up with this email?

Has someone pranked you? If you didn’t apply, there is no reason why you should be getting an email like this, unless you signed up for soemthing you have forgotten about?
From my D’s experience 2 years ago, you are assigned a regional interviewer when you open an account at the website for MIT application and you need to have the interview done before you submit the final application by the deadline.

You haven’t got an actual interview, just the invitation for the set up. Because of the myMIT account.
