Why did I waste $50 applying to UCR?

it’s $55 man.

I applied to UCR because I got 4 free apps and there were only 3 schools I was interested in. UCR was on the list when I was checking the boxes and Riverside is somewhat close to San Diego, so I checked it off for ***** and giggles.

Well now UCR is the only school that’s accepted me. I’m still pending at UCSD (where I want to go) and UCI (my backup plan).

■■■.

@ktb: Haha, no. That’s why I never considered SF. :P

Or you guys never considered UCSF because it’s graduate and professional only and they’d be like “WTH?” at your application.

Oh, I didn’t even know that. I’ve read next to nothing about it since I’m not interested in any medical careers.

It was actually $60

Ya why did you?? Santa Barbara was my safety school. I wanted my safety to be a place I’d actually go :D

Fortunately, I"ve already got into the schools I value above my safety :slight_smile: (next berk and ucla!)

The whole point of a “safety school” is that it’s a school that you wouldn’t really want to go to, but you would go to, if you had to. All the reasons why I applied to Chico. If all hell broke loose at least I’d be getting some decent tail ya know?

@Hadrian

yeah, UCSF is a graduate school mainly for biological professions. That’s why I was so confused why you mentioned it lol.
