Why did my financial aid money drastically decrease?

During the fall, I received about $1,300.. and today, when I received it money for spring, I only got $165.

???

Is this Pell Grant money or what?

Are you going to school full time? if not, how many credits are you taking?

When you got your FA package last year, what did it say?

Are you talking about actual aid? or about the refund of excess aid?

If your refund is lower it could be because your direct charges are higher. For instance, depending on how your school charges tuition, if you are taking more credit hours your tuition may be higher.

If your actual aid is reduced it may be for some other reason - less than full time, loss of some type of grant because of eligibility issues etc.

You should be able to look at your aid and see exactly what it is for the semester and what it has paid for.

Please indicate what you received in financial aid awards for fall broken down by type of aid and amount, then indicate the number of credits for which you were enrolled in fall and spring. We can’t help you without this information. Since there is no $165 Pell payment, I am also wondering whether you are talking about aid or refunds.
