<p>Chance threads are a nice way to give basic insights, but you still have to be able to distinguish useful information for yourself. I’ll take advice from people, but in the end, I’m the one who makes the decision. I wouldn’t make decisions on my college plans based off of what some random person on the internet said. Chances are useful so long as you take them as advice and not orders.</p>
<p>But, I would refrain from calling less populated states, unusual states. </p>
<p>Relax, not everyone from an unusual state is an unusual person.</p>
<p>D1’s friend went on CC and posted a chance thread while waiting for this particular college’s decision. He was rejected. I guess he was nervous about his chances so he admitted to D1 that he was desperated.</p>
