Why do people join Business Fraternities?

Just as it says, why do students join business fraternities?

I was thinking about it but I need a good valid reason too join because i dont think my current reason which is "Networking" is a good one.

I just need something to put on my resume and I think being apart of a Business fraternity is a step forward.

They have connections in certain fields to get your foot into the door, get representatives from businesses to come and give presentations, you are with like minded individuals where you can help each other out be it classes, clubs, or advice; and also give great advice as far as what to wear and how to wear something like a suit when you go in for interviews with a company ( like should I wear a conservative tie with a light blue shirt and leave the third button undone on my suit when I walk into JP Morgan Chase office at Columbus, Ohio versus New York and stuff like that or the kind of paper (resume paper or regular) a certain HR likes at a prestigious company.

A lot of information to give you a leg up from most people.

The number of buttons you have undone isn’t gonna give you a leg up.

^lol
.

I would argue that depends on the total number of buttons undone.

As you can see, business frats are for wussies who can’t even figure out when to undo their buttons.

I hope the HR directors at these corporations don’t choose based on the type of paper your resume is printed on…
