why do YOU always capitalize "YOU" in thread titles?

seriously, I've always wondered why alot of people do that?
I mean, I know it's to put emphisis on the fact that they want YOU to answer but I think it's useless.
People know that you're talking ot them.

It's only purpose is to emphasize that they want other viewers to feel like it's directed to YOU.

but lower case letters serve that purpose as well, right?

yea, but it does not capture the attention as much as the Capitals do.

e.g Whats wrong with YOU?

becuase THEY like random capitlization?

I've never really noticed it...

because YOU won Time's Person of the Year

and so did I...:)

^no! YOU couldn't have!

I did!!!!

F*** that, I did!

what??

Since YOU won this year, there is only one candidate for next year - me (assuming they don't want to repeat winners).

CUT THE CRAP I SAY...

I'M going to win it next year.

YOU guys really like capitalizing "YOU" don't YOU?

P.S. I won it!

I don't get why YOU care so much about it.

I never really noticed it too much before but since YOU pointed it out I kinda notice it now.

p.s. I won. not YOU.

YOU didn't notice it because it's unnoticable. But when YOU and other people keep capitalizing YOU in YOUr thread titles it becomes noticable!

P.S YOU didn't win.

huh? that made no sense whatsoever. YOU should explain YOUrself better.

p.s. I did win. YOU didn't.

maybe people capitalize YOU because I should be capitalized. just a thought?
