Why do you want to study Law? What makes you think you'll be a good fit for law school? What aspects of Law are you particularly interested in?

I'm still a high school student but in my country, law is mostly studied by undergraduates in the form of a 5 year integrated program. I've been exploring the possibilities of going to Law School and I'll be writing the admission test in May but I have to first convince myself that there are worthwhile incentives for doing so other than the fact that its a well paying job :)

Law can be an intellecutally satisfying profession, and can allow you to make an impact in people's lives.

For me, the question would be, why are you considering it? If only because it is a well-paying job, then I would refrain from applying -- there are plenty of other areas where you can make money.

Given the tons of people already flocking to such a competitive profession, I wouldn't encourage anyone to attend law school unless they had a sincere interest in the area beyond financial.

On the other hand, I don't know what the situation is like in India -- maybe it's easier to get jobs there.
