Why does this happen?

I don't know why this happens. For some reason my score is not going up no matter how much i practice. I barely get any wrong for all 3 sections, maybe only 7 per each? And that is untimed, but when i do timed, i freak out and i do horrible, i skip a bunch and get a lot wrong. The info just doesnt come to me and i freak out and i don't know what to do. My brain refuses to think or even take in the information, it just looks like im staring at a page with nothing on it. Can someone please give me advice because I'm losing hope :/

You are so wrapped up in the time that you no longer pay attention to the most important part … the test itself.

You have to just pretend that it isn’t timed and just take one at a time. Paying attention to the time is only hurting you from what you say, so just pretend it’s a practice exam and just push through it at your own pace.

You can do this ! If the time seems to be “freaking” you out, you can even do practice tests at home with a clock/timer on your desk, so you eventually start to ignore it (if this works for you). It’s all in your mind though so you have to just get past it.

Yeah i have been doing it timed at my house and i do horrible. What are some tips so that i can get the hang of it and actually have time left OVER ? Thanks for the response btw.

do it untimed, but do it as quickly as you can without losing accuracy. Feel as if there were a timer. practice that over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over…

anyone else?
