Why Even Try to be Perfect?

ok

:)

i got a 1 on the AP Spanish exam. you can't do worse than a 1..

Well, can you just not self-report that one score? wink

i was too paranoid, so i did.. but now i'm seriously regretting that. haha.

I had 2 threes that I reported anyway in additional information since it's better to be honest than for them to somehow find out and then think you're trying to hide something.

yeah, that's how i felt. whatever.. that one AP score shouldn't eliminate my chances if everything else is decent, right??

<yes.. i="" think="" i'm="" trying="" to="" convince="" myself="" more="" than="" anyone="" else=""></yes..>

guys! stay positive. :D

my most positive is a deferral so its all okay :)

hehe

1) my teacher recs will definitely be above average, but they won't be "ZOMG BEST STUDENT EVER!!!!!!! YAYAYAY!"

2) I'm ranked 29/334 (but I only got one B D:)

3) My SAT/SATIIz are not bad, but none of them are great

^^^
umm - good post?

yeah, i hate all those teachers whose recs will DEFINITELY be above average...
those good sat scores...
and that one B...

Alright, I've got a ton..

Some B's here and there
I've only got some leadership and I don't think I really fleshed it out enough on my app
Not so hot SAT II USH score that I didn't have time to retake
NOT the valedictorian
Pretty much every Asian/Indian on the planet plays violin (pretty darn well, too...)
I have a feeling I'm not an absolutely flawless god-like student in my teacher recs... I doubt I have any "best in career" checks...

But, I am proud of what I've done and will still hope for the best come December 15th :). CC has made me hate myself enough in the past.. I'm so not doing that anymore!

I love that we're finally embracing our flaws! It feels good.. thank you to the OP!

didn't cancel my first sat score even though i was really sick
asian girl who plays piano and wants to major in applied math
