Did you fall in love with the campus? The city? Did you just want to go because of UCLA’s recognition? Or did you just like the programs offered at UCLA?

Your question sounds like you have no idea about the school, and the idea of going to UCLA was just brought to you from surrounding people. I think you dont really know if you want to go to UCLA. If I have to answer, I will say yes to every single question you have asked above. Only you can answer the questions, do you want to go to UCLA? Why do you? You have to go backwards, not choosing a school first and then smash a bunch of reasons onto your choice. Answer Why first. Do some research about the school, the program offered at the school, compare the factors with the ones at other schools. Then decide if you want to go to UCLA. Now YOU have your very own reasons why you do or do not want UCLA. Even the people that have exactly the same major as yours have their own reasons why they chose UCLA too. Nobody answers your question better than yourself. You may hear back a lot of invincible reasons to pick the university, but those are just THEIR reasons, they are encouraging, but they may not apply to you, and you may make a terrible decision that you will regret after all. SO, go discover yourself, go on the websites, go to the campus, ask the people who are already in the school about how the school is like, but NOT why they chose it.
People were not just born with the idea of going to UCLA. Me neither, I used to be in Computer science major and thought I would go to grad school so going to Cal Poly Pomona does not affect me at all. But then, I switched to Math major, and was like…no… its not okay, my undergrad should be done at a UC. Do you see that I had reasons for not going to UCLA, and then changed my mind after switching my major? Every person has his own judgement, so it would not help you as much as if you explore yourself.
