Why go to Penn?

Why go to Penn? In one sentence. =) Eloquence is not required.

It's the best school in the northeast, all around.

Basically, it reeks of awesome.

It's in Philly.

You can have sex under the button.

I like it?

it rhymes with hen

It's better than Princeton.

Because you didn't get into Harvard or Yale?

^^^ Uh no. At Harvard, you have kids counting down the days until they graduate just so they can say, "I went to Hah-vad." The majority of them see it as a benchmark in their lives as opposed to an experience.

Penn is both the benchmark and experience of our lives. And if you are attending Wharton (W '13 baby!), then Harvard and Yale will not provide as solid of a business education as does the home of the first business school in the world.

And don't gimme that "oh but all Wharton kids focus on is business and I want to get a liberal arts education" garbage because few people realize that Wharton students actually taking over 40% of their classes in the college.

Oh, and neither of those schools can touch Penn's dual-degree learning opportunities, especially Huntsman and M&T.

^
somebody obviously did a great job on their "Why Penn?" essay. Huntsman, at that. Congratulations.

(I was joking about the H and Y thing. Couldn't even bring myself to include the other "P" ;) )

when a pencil just don't cut it

(okay i realize this is prolly played out but whatever)

It's a darn good school, and you can have a good time while you're there.

Everyone is pretty.

the campus is spectacular. <3
