Why did You Choose Penn

Why did you choose Penn?

a little school called wharton

Because all the people I met at Columbia were totally crazy.

Because Penn had unparalleled breadth in the academic opportunities thanks to the One University policy.

Because Penn is in Philadelphia, which is big enough to be interesting without being so big as to be drain on campus community

Because food carts are awesome

Because there are 40 places on this campus where you can get a bagel (unprecedented!)

Because I was fortunate enough to get in

Because of the amazing mix of on-campus, off-campus greek, and off-campus non-greek activities

Because the political scene is relatively balanced, with a distinct lack of extremists on either side of the spectrum

Because I love the campus. Locust Walk is a gem. A gem covered in flyers.

Because its reputation is superb, and justifiably so.

And the people at Columbia were totally crazy ;)

my awesome korean girlfriend

Cheesesteaks!

my state school rescinded its admission
and the girls during penn previews seemed attractive

also meng has a gf? details bro.

"Because there are 40 places on this campus where you can get a bagel (unprecedented!)"

lol worth it.

Hey freetense. Why did you get rescinded at your state school but not at penn? What did you do? is penn more lax about rescinding?

freetense = yankin' your chain

B/c it was either Penn or staying in my country's main university.

also ilovebagels' post makes me throw up a little inside. not that it's wrong, i just don't like advertisements. i prefer joke posts.

Don't worry freetense. If you track my posts you can see that by and large they are either joke posts or just sad jokes of a post.

Meng does indeed have a Korean gf. I walked in on them once. Super kawaii.
