According to the 2011 US News and World Report College Guide, CSULA has a 4-year graduation rate of only 9%, a 5-year graduation rate of 25%, and a 6-year graduation rate of 33%. Can anybody help me understand why these figures are so dismally low? Is it because classes are so difficult to get? Any ideas?

From classes being difficult to get due to budget/impactness, to the part time students, to the lazy students who are unable to put in the effort, to the workload of some majors like engineering, to the double majors, to the majors with minors, to personal difficulties, etc…

But all in all, I wouldn’t pay attention to statistics, just work hard, you’ll do fine :)

Want to graduate on time?

Give your life over to school and work to get out.

Because it’s Cal state LA.
