<p>I'm having a hard time trying to write my why transfer? essays. the main problem is i want to transfer mostly so i can be closer to home (i'm 10 hours away) and partially because I don't like the social life where i am. Are these things colleges want to hear or should i not even mention them? I am not transferring for academic reasons AT ALL. i'm sure i could write about how each school's academics would be better for me but it just wouldn't be passionate. is it essential that a good part of my essay be about how the academics would be a better fit for me? any help would be appreciated.</p>
<p>I think you should incorporate these reasons with the peace of mind that you would attain by going to college X and how that will help you academically, plus it never harms to praise college X academically and socially BOTH</p>
