"Why U Chicago" supplement: conditional or future tense?

I'm having a little difficulty figuring out which tense to use for this essay. The first time I wrote it in future tense (ie: curriculum WILL allow me). But when I was looking over it I realized I should probably make it conditional. (curriculum WOULD..) When I switched the essay over to conditional tense it didn't come off as strong. However, I don't want to come off as though I am certain I will be admitted to U Chicago, but I definitely want to express confidence/ desire. What tense should I use?

I don’t think it’s a big deal, but if I remember correctly I used future tense.

I think the future tense is good.

I used future tense, and talked about the school in the present tense too. “I know that UChicago would provide me with…” “UChicago is a…”
