Why Vassar?

How are people going about the Why Vassar? question? Does anyone want to swap? Particularly anyone planning to major in English or Drama?

This is what I wrote:

I am applying to Vassar because no other school has appealed to me in so many ways. I have had the opportunity to visit the college in three different seasons, and I have fallen in love with the beauty of the campus. Subsequent colleges have failed to impress me nearly as much; the buildings are never quite as majestic; the campuses not as charming; and the libraries not as enjoyable to simply be in. Its small student body is another asset to Vassar College. This fosters a close-knit community between students and professors, which is comforting in comparison to larger universities where professors recognize you as a number or do not recognize you at all. Moreover, another appealing facet of Vassar is its lack of a core curriculum allowing for diversity and personal interest in my education. Finally and most importantly, the manner in which Vassar College presented itself as an institution with history, tradition, and success have biased me towards Vassar. It is a college I would be proud to attend.

Now that I read it though, it sounds really poorly written. Oh well...

it sounds good. nothing bad about it.

Oh, then, hopefully you can get something out of it!

Thank you very much! That helps a lot. (I won't copy - I promise). Would you like a couple of editing suggestions, or are you beyond that stage?

Im in. I dont care about how it can be better at this point... but thanks anyways :)

Oh, congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

see i told you it was good :)

Hope

Yes indeed!

I talked to a friend who now is at Vassar about his experience last night, so I think that'll help me a lot, too - I can use the specifics of the conversation in my writing. Thanks for all your help!
