<p>Myy grades are good enough and my EC's are very good. I don't understand why I would be rejected. My sister has much lower stats than me and not nearly as many extracurriculars yet she got wait listed at least. Any insight?</p>

<p>sometimes colleges can be a little strange and inconsistent. my father got into brown and UPenn but was rejected by Tufts (less selective than Brown and UPenn)</p>
<p>It did not have that option @kingkarl4 I am so confused. I don’t even want to go there but it’s still a bit worrying. I’m hoping for Johns Hopkins tbh.</p>
<p>There are some schools that are looking to increase their yield. They’ll reject top applicants simply because the admissions committee figure that their school is a safety for the student and won’t enroll anyways. I have a friend who got in with similar stats, but she applied for the early start (she’d begin classes in June/July if she decides to go)</p>
