I am working on my college application right now. Does anyone has any idea of how to write a good why essay for Wellesley? Thank you a lot!! =)

My first suggestion would be to do research on the school… it’s hard to write a good Why Wellesley essay if you dont know anything about the school or why you would want to go there. Is it for the traditions? The small classes? The involved, dedicated professors? I’d say that’s the first starting point. The essay is an opportunity to show the admissions office that you really want to be there! Let me know if you would like me to read it; I’d be happy to help!

I totally agree with SB’s suggestions. Another thing I would keep in mind is to take notes and provide justifications for each point before sitting down to write. And make sure to respect the limit on length! When they say “two well-developed paragraphs,” it means they want t w o g o o d p a r a g r a p h s, not four or six or ten paragraphs smooshed into two.

Good luck to all!
