I think we should have a thread to ask the tough questions that have come before us at some point in out lives.

First off I wanna know do hobos get hot? Why do they stand around at midday in two or three layers of clothing. They gotta feel that sun at some point

I also often wonder this when I see a homeless person in the dead heat of summer, walking around wearing three sweaters and a winter jacket. Like, what the F***?! I'm bloody-well pouring sweat in a T-shirt and shorts on some summer days.

why is it that there are much less parking spaces than there are cars in most cities? In amy given city there are like 80, 000, 000 cars and only like 100,000 parking spaces.

I got one... It may sound dumb but I really want a logical answer.

Why does the US spend so much money (I mean billions) on space exploration... Its like oh well we can spend a million dollars so we can touch the moon.... AGAIN!! First time okay but really!

Honestly, What does it matter what is out there...

The only explaination I can think is that we are too curious.

maybe there is a secret undercover search for little green men. search for intelligence of another form than our own. or maybe they just need the extra space in the treasury so they make way by spending a truckload of money.

I want to do aerospace too and of course there is reason. If you want to say that the funding is only fueled by curiosity so we should cut nasa all together then you might as well say that science should no longer be studied in american because all that science is driven by is curiosity. (well okay only deep concentrations of physics) oh and nasa is extremely underfunded now that its rediculous. one of my professors over the summer worked on a project at nasa last year and he said that it was rediculous the number of other projects that were started but not even close to being finished by the time they were cut.
im not saying this to get into an argument, i just want to post my point of view.
oh but one last thing on this subject...i have to quote a movie at least once a day in a conversation so here it is for today. Watch apolo 13. In it someone asks why the space programs is continued now that we beat the russians to the moon. He replies saying what if columbus had reached america, but noone came back.
idk, i just thought it was all relavent

I've always wondered why there are so many taxis in NYC. i never see the majority of them with passangers and most people i know take the subway. Its cheaper and faster.
